A warranty is a promise.

1. Our Commitment

MOOVLAB, Inc. (“MOOVLAB”) warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the warranty periods specified in this document. “Normal use” means use consistent with the product’s design and published guidelines, in either residential or commercial environments as applicable.

During the applicable warranty period, MOOVLAB’s sole obligation and the purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty shall be, at MOOVLAB’s option, to:

• Repair the defective product or component, or
• Replace it with the same product or one that is functionally equivalent or the most comparable current model available.

Replacement parts or products may be new or refurbished and are warranted only for the remainder of the original warranty period. The warranty period does not restart upon repair or replacement.

This warranty applies to the original end-user purchaser who acquires a new MOOVLAB product from MOOVLAB or an authorized MOOVLAB retailer or dealer. The warranty period begins on the date of original purchase, as evidenced by valid proof of purchase.

Transferability

This warranty may be transferred one (1) time to a subsequent owner, provided that:

• The original proof of purchase is provided to MOOVLAB or the authorized dealer;
• The product remains within the original warranty period at the time of transfer; and
• The product has not been modified, misused, or subjected to conditions that would otherwise void the warranty.

Upon transfer, coverage continues only for the remaining portion of the original warranty term. MOOVLAB reserves the right to require inspection or documentation prior to honoring a transferred warranty claim. Products purchased through unauthorized sellers are not eligible for warranty coverage, except where required by applicable law.

3. Warranty Periods

Residential Use (Home and Single-User Environments)

12-Year Coverage

The following components are covered for twelve (12) years from the date of original purchase:

• Chair frame, base, and all load-bearing structural components
• MOOVCOR™ dynamic movement mechanism and all internal moving parts
• Casters, pneumatic cylinders, height-adjustment mechanisms, and tilt controls
• Armrests and all mechanical arm adjustment components
• Foam padding, seat cushion, and lumbar support structures
• All plastic and metal hardware components

5-Year Coverage

The following are covered for five (5) years from the date of original purchase:

• Upholstery and fabric seating surfaces
• Mesh back and seat panels
• Leather or leatherette surfaces, where applicable
• All other surface textile and finishing materials

Commercial and Institutional Use

Commercial use includes, but is not limited to, offices and corporate environments, co-working spaces, educational, healthcare, or government facilities, hospitality or rental environments, and any multi-user or high-frequency use setting.

10-Year Coverage

The following are covered for ten (10) years:

• Chair frame, base, and all load-bearing structural components
• MOOVCOR™ dynamic movement mechanism and all internal moving parts

7-Year Coverage

The following are covered for seven (7) years:

• Casters, pneumatic cylinders, height-adjustment mechanisms, and tilt controls
• Armrests and all mechanical arm adjustment components

5-Year Coverage

The following are covered for five (5) years:

• Foam padding, seat cushion, and lumbar support structures
• All plastic and metal hardware components

3-Year Coverage

The following are covered for three (3) years:

• Upholstery, mesh, fabric, leather, and all surface materials

4. What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover defects, damage, or deterioration resulting from any of the following:

(a) Normal Wear and Tear

Normal wear and tear is expected over the course of a product’s life and is not considered a defect. It includes, but is not limited to:

• Gradual foam softening or compression consistent with ordinary single-user use
• Fabric wear, stretching, or minor loss of resilience
• Cosmetic changes such as fading, discoloration, or minor surface abrasions that do not affect structural or functional performance
• Minor operational noise or movement that does not impair function

(b) Misuse or Improper Use

• Abuse, misuse, impact damage, or accidental damage
• Use exceeding the published maximum weight capacity of 250 lbs. (The weight limit is published on the product specification sheet and at moovlab.com/specs)
• Use in commercial, institutional, or multi-shift environments beyond the applicable commercial warranty tier

(c) External Causes

• Exposure to extreme environmental conditions, including excessive moisture, heat, direct sunlight, or chemicals
• Improper assembly, handling, or storage
• Failure to follow MOOVLAB’s published care and maintenance guidelines

(d) Unauthorized Actions

• Modifications, alterations, or repairs not authorized in writing by MOOVLAB

(e) Cosmetic and Surface Issues

• Scratches, dents, chips, stains, or soiling that do not affect structural or functional integrity
• Dye transfer to upholstery or surface materials, including transfer from clothing such as denim
• Textile pilling or surface abrasion resulting from regular use

(f) Distribution Channel

• Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, resale platforms, or secondhand channels, except where otherwise required by applicable law

5. How to Obtain Warranty Service

To submit a warranty claim, contact MOOVLAB at warranty@moovlab.com or visit moovlab.com/warranty. To process your claim efficiently, please have the following ready:

• Valid proof of purchase from an authorized MOOVLAB retailer or dealer
• The product’s serial number, located on the underside of the seat
• A clear description of the issue
• Photographs or video clearly showing the defect or affected component

MOOVLAB may request the return of defective parts or components for inspection prior to approving a remedy. Claims must be submitted within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered.

Costs and Shipping

• MOOVLAB will cover the cost of replacement parts for all valid warranty claims.
• Labor, installation, and in-home service costs are not included in this warranty unless otherwise required by applicable law. The customer may be responsible for technician or installation fees.
• The customer may be responsible for the cost of shipping defective parts or components to MOOVLAB. MOOVLAB will cover the cost of outbound shipping for approved replacement parts or products.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

• This Limited Warranty is the exclusive express warranty provided by MOOVLAB.
• Any implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the applicable warranty period set forth above.

MOOVLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR COMMERCIAL LOSS ARISING FROM A PRODUCT DEFECT OR WARRANTY CLAIM.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. As a result, some or all of the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

7. Authorized Sellers

Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased from MOOVLAB directly or from an authorized MOOVLAB retailer or dealer. Because MOOVLAB cannot guarantee the authenticity, condition, or handling of products sold through unauthorized channels, coverage is not available for products acquired through unauthorized sellers, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

MOOVLAB reserves the right to verify seller authorization at the time of any warranty claim. A current and up-to-date list of authorized sellers is available at moovlab.com/dealers.

8. Geographic Scope

This Limited Warranty applies to MOOVLAB products purchased and used within the United States of America. For products purchased outside of the United States, warranty terms may vary. Please contact MOOVLAB at warranty@moovlab.com for applicable international warranty information.
