MOOVLAB Inc. is an American Active Seating Company Revolutionizing the Active Seating Category.

The company's flagship product, the MOOVLAB-001, is built around a patented dual-axis MOOVCOR™ mechanism - a first-of-its-kind technology that projects the pivot points above the seat, enabling natural, effortless, continuous movement while seated. The MOOVLAB chair is designed, engineered and assembled in Michigan, USA by Leggett and Platt, and backed by TOMS Shoes founder and entrepreneur Blake Mycoskie.

The Human Story behind MOOVLAB

MOOVLAB did not begin in a boardroom. It began with a low back injury in 2011 and a decade of searching for something that simply did not exist.

Michael Collier, MOOVLAB's Founder and Inventor, suffered a serious low back injury in a snowboard accident that changed his life.  For the next ten years, he lived with chronic discomfort and tried every chair, cushion, and ergonomic solution the market had to offer. Nothing worked - because nothing was truly designed around a body in motion. Starting in January of 2012, that frustration became an obsession, and that obsession became the MOOVCOR™ mechanism: a patented dual-axis pivot system that places the pivot points above the seat, allowing the body to move continuously and naturally without loading the muscles, fatiguing the spine while releasing hip mobility. Michael did not set out to build a chair company. He set out to solve a problem that millions of people share - and ended up inventing a new category.

Blake Mycoskie

Founder of TOMS & Lover of Life

Blake Mycoskie is best known as the founder of TOMS Shoes, creator of the One for One movement that gave over 100 million pairs of shoes to children in need and sparked a new wave of social entrepreneurship. He later appeared as a guest shark on Shark Tank, investing in and mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs.

But behind the global success, Blake was quietly battling the unshakable belief that he was never enough. After selling TOMS, that struggle became impossible to ignore, leading to a profound depression and a realization: the wound wasn't external, it was rooted within.

From that awakening came ENOUGH, a cultural movement challenging the belief of "not enough," symbolized by the green ENOUGH bracelet, sold in pairs, one to keep and one to give. He's also launching No Magic Pill, a podcast offering honest, unfiltered conversations about mental health, no agenda, just truth shared openly.

Through doing the inner work, Blake reawakened his entrepreneurial spirit. He now channels that energy as co-founder of Morning Water and Moovlab, brands rooted in wellness, intentional living, and human performance.

We are Redefining the Way the World Sits.

Designed for modern life. We believe sitting should work with the body, not against it. Our team brings careers spent in the performance sports industry, where movement is never treated as optional. That perspective shaped MOOVLAB from the beginning.

We created MOOVLAB because most chairs have stayed fundamentally the same for decades, even as the way we work has changed dramatically. More hours at desks, more screen time, and more time spent seated demand a better answer.

MOOVLAB-001 is that answer. A chair designed to support natural movement throughout the workday.
